Sensate Focus Touch: Certification Program 

Program Objectives:

• Understand the Theory and Science Behind Sensate Focus: Explore the theoretical and biological foundations of Sensate Focus and how it addresses sexual blocks and challenges.
• Effectively Explain Sensate Focus to Clients: Learn how to present the rationale and process in a way that encourages client engagement and follow-through.
• Master the Updated Sensate Focus Protocol: Develop proficiency in the general sequence of touch suggestions and learn how to adapt them based on individual client goals, sexual difficulties, and interpersonal dynamics.
• Address Common Challenges: Gain strategies for managing issues such as avoidance, pressure (self or partner-induced), and noncompliance, as well as creative solutions for complex cases.
• Integrate Sensate Focus with Other Modalities: Discover how to incorporate adjunctive psychotherapeutic approaches (e.g., IFS, EMDR, Gottman, Imago, Emotion-Focused Therapy) to complement Sensate Focus techniques.
• Guide Clients in Erotic Exploration: Learn how to create a Sensate Focus 2 program to help clients deepen their erotic connection with themselves and their partners.
